IGC and IGB Design System and Library
I was involved in the redesign of the Instagram for Creators (IGC) website and in creating the new design system file for Instagram for Business (IGB).
My key responsibilities involved a thorough component audit for both brands. As a design system designer, conducting a component audit is crucial for maintaining a healthy and effective design system. The audit helps in maintaining consistency, improving usability, identifying redundancies, and enhancing efficiency.
Here are some of the projects I managed at IGC along with their corresponding task numbers within the internal task tool.
I expanded the icon library and enhanced it by adding micro-animations.
For each new template, mobile and desktop views were provided to ensure consistent and optimal user experience.
I have experience with Adobe After Effects and assisted in expanding their UI animation library.
